The love for jewellery comes from a family legacy filled with history and passion for art and gemstones.
Two sisters, Laura Marina and Laura Cristina, decided to turn their childhood dream into a reality, honouring the legacy of their great-grandfather, Silvio Siciliano.
The story begins in Calabria, Italy, where Silvio Siciliano, a brave and entrepreneurial man, decided to leave his homeland in search of new opportunities in Venezuela. In 1920, he arrived in Maracaibo with a bag full of treasures and dreams, and founded his own jewellery store, which bore the family name. Over the years, the legacy of Siciliano Jewellery was passed down from generation to generation.
Our grandfather, “Papá Orestes,” married our beloved grandmother, “Mamita,” who introduced us to the magical world of jewellery from an early age.
Mamita, in turn, was passionate about jewellery. She invited us into her dream world, where we would dress up in her luxurious silk robes and adorn ourselves with her beautiful gemstones.
These extravagant moments transported us to a world of opulence and shine, full of joy and fantasy.
However, after we finished playing, Mamita also taught us that the reality of life has its nuances and imparted lessons about the highs and lows, the value of work and responsibility, and above all, having the courage to trust in our dreams and make them a reality. These lessons deeply marked us and became the foundation of our brand philosophy.
With the aim of sharing our passion for craftsmanship, beauty, and family legacy, we decided to create a lifestyle brand that offers fine and sophisticated jewellery at accessible prices.
